The Best Acne Clearing Routine In Kenya

Cleanser

When you have acne, a good idea is to use a cleanser that has a moderate amount of BHA in it- Salicylic Acid. You can start out by using this cleanser once a day, then if your skin is up for it, use it twice a day.

Other alternatives are CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser, The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Acne Pore Cleanser, Panoxyl Benzoyl Peroxide 4% Acne Wash, PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength and CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser.

Treatment

I always used to look down on benzoyl peroxide as I found it to be too harsh on the skin. That was until I came across micronized benzoyl peroxide from Malezia. In layman terms, micronized benzoyl peroxide has waaay smaller particles in comparison to other types of benzoyl peroxide, leading it to penetrate the skin and fight acne with little to no risk of irritation. In fact, you might find that your skin is better moisturized while using it!

The reason why this moisturizer is so awesome is it contains urea, a molecule found in the skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF) and is excellent at protecting our barrier It mildly exfoliates and hydrates the skin- even better than vaseline. 

Sunscreen

By this point, you should know the importance of sunscreen, whether or not you have melanin! My favourites are the Nivea Super Sun Protect Water Gel SPF 50/PA+++ and the Nivea Sun Water Gel SPF35 140g. No white cast, leave you glowy.
